Invest in Texas’ Heritage. Join the Effort to Preserve our Historic Treasures.

The Texas Historical Preservation Endowment, launched by the Friends of Libraries & Archives of Texas in partnership with the Austin Community Foundation (ACF), establishes an ongoing source of funds to expand preservation activities at the State Archives, part of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. The State Archives maintains the official history of Texas as colony, nation and state — archival government records dating to the 18th century, newspapers, journals, books, manuscripts, photographs, historical maps, and other artifacts — preserving and documenting the heritage and culture of Texas.

Contributions can be made directly to the Austin Community Foundation by credit card or by check to the Austin Community Foundation, 4315 Guadalupe, Suite 300 / Austin, TX 78751. Please specify Texas Historical Preservation Endowment.

Your contribution is fully tax-deductible.
